The Wellness & Prevention Center is sponsoring a free 5 week introductory business class on Wednesday afternoons.
When: Feb 18 – Mar 18 3:00 pm– 4:15 pm
Location: San Clemente High School
Students will be introduced to the challenges and rewards of starting their own business. The course will cover how to develop a compelling business plan – and will touch on market research, sales/marketing, product development, financials and fundraising. Students will also gain leadership skills, communication skills, team building, and positive thinking.
The class will be limited to 30 students and students should have an interest and a passion for business – but need not have a current business idea. This class may be the inspiration they need!
Class will be taught by Richard Chin, a serial entrepreneur who has founded, managed and sold several businesses in the high technology space. He has held titles of CEO, VP and has consulted for private/public entities on business startup, expansion, fundraising as well as Merger & Acquisition.
